The Animal Party
A bowlegged rabbit and A
knock kneed racoon
Doing A Boogie by the light of
the moon.
Let's have A party said the
rabbit to the racoon
And invite all our friends, And
lets make it soon.
So they invited all their
friends to come to their party
With A special demand not to be
tardy.
What A sight they made doing
the boogie that night.
They boogied and they boogied
till broad day light.
Everyone came, important or not,
The squirell, the snake, the
little green frog, the dignified rooster,
The dirty old hog, the proper
old buzzard, the proud old hen,
The prissy little robin all
dancing with women and men.
They all love to boogie and
boogie they did,
laughing and talking and
behaving like kids.
The sun came up and the moon
went down.
They were all so tired they
fell to the ground.
There is A bare spot in the
forest until this day,
Where the grass won't grow, so
they say.
Every full moon from that day
until this,
The animals all gather and
boogie in bliss.
