Why is there discord among "Christians", "Muslims", and Jews? 

Simple, established dominations and religions are based on their set of laws and rules. Each has it's own. Jesus gave us "a" Law that replaces all these man made laws and rules. He said I give you a new commandment(or law), "Love one another". This new law takes the authority away from religious leaders and law makers and places the authority on the heart.

If each Christian, Jew, or Muslim started living by the "Law of Jesus" then what would happen? Would there be any reason for the jihad between the three great religions?

Why do we cling to such  destructive religious systems when we see the results of such? If we all started practicing the "Law of Jesus" and started loving instead of hating and started teaching our children this new law then there would be no reason for the current ongoing jihad between Jews and Christians, between Baptist and Jews, between Christians and Catholics, etc.

But wait, there must be a reason for hanging on to a system that is causing so much pain and suffering. Could it be power, money, greed, or all of the above?  Are the common people a part of this, or are the villains in the clergy, or both?

Are we going down with the ship because of our religious leaders or because we want it that way? This sermon is not going to change the world, nor is it very likely to change even one person for that matter, so why bring up such a deep and controversial subject to start with? Why did the Hebrew prophets in the Old Testament Bible warn the people? Why do you tell your children to stay out of the street, when you know they are going to play in the street as soon as your back is turned anyway?

If the people who claim to be Christians would replace any preachers and teachers who refuse to teach the the new commandment of Jesus( " love one another" ), and themselves start living by that commandment, the Christian Church would begin to set an example for all to follow. At least no one could find fault with or any reason to hate Christians living by Jesus's Law. Even other religions who adopted the "New Law" would be hard to hate. How do you hate people who treat you right, even if they are from another country, race, or religion?

We grieve Jesus by continuing to teach the old Jewish Laws and ignoring His new Law. We also refuse to let His Church be born, the Church He died for. We are still hanging on to the Jewish Church and Jewish Laws that Jesus grew up with, the same Church that crucified Him.

Today is the day to start living for Jesus by the "Law of Jesus"(i.e. Love One Another). Be a true Born Again Christian, a Christian born of the Spirit of God(the spirit is love, God's love). If they hate you then, you have done all you can do.

Do not think because I speak to you on a personal level that I am not aware of the deep seated hatred between the Jews and the Arabs, and the long struggle between them, but we must start some where. If someone had started after the resurrection of Jesus I'm sure there would be no jihad today.
