SELFISHNESS

Some people say that the anti-christ will be the spawned son of the devil, but in flesh. Some say he will be a world leader. Some say he has already lived.

I say that he is still alive today, as he was hundreds of years ago, and as he has been since the placement of man on earth.

Well, who then is this anti-christ?

Think about the terms anti and Christ. Put together they mean "against Christ", "opposite Christ", "exactly different from Christ", etc.

So, what is exactly opposite from Christ.

 Well first let's understand who Christ is. Christ is Jesus Christ, who is all that's good and holy, who is everything beautiful about the mankind God created. In other words Christ is the only unselfish human being who has ever walked the face of the earth. We want to be like him but always fall short, we always revert back to some degree to looking after number one(ourselves), thereby falling short of being completely unselfish as He was. People usually wind up worshipping self. We call it looking after ourselves. But it really is anti-christ (anti-unselfishness). In other words the anti-christ is really here already, in our selfish hearts. Our selfishness is anti-christ like. We worship self, therefore we worship the anti-christ.

Really you say, I'm not selfish. Jesus said so. Read His parables and illustrations with an open mind and open heart and let His Holy Spirit speak to you. Oh, I know, it hurts too much to believe the truth, so you had rather stick with the half truths. Remember Jesus said "don't throw your pearls before the swine." Let us all pray for an infilling of His Holy Love(Spirit) and draw a little closer to Him and what He wants for us.
