Abbeville Fire/Rescue meets every First and Third Monday Night at 7:00 pm Local group of AA meets Monday and Thursday from 8pm to 9pm. The location is approximately one mile south of the red light on US Highway 129; on the right going south, look for the "AA" sign.The group meets in a Double wide mobile home, Which is called The Ebby House" Abbeville City Council normally meets every 1st Thursday at 6:00 pm in city hall. Abbeville Municipal Court every 1st Tuesday at 6:00 pm in city hall on S Depot St. Optimist Club meets 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 6:30 pm at the Joy Theater . Board of Trustees Wilcox County Library 1st Tuesday of each quar ter at 4:00 pm at the Wilcox County Library located in Abbeville. Annual Wild Hog Festival is always on Mother's Day weekend in May.
