THE BUZZARD AND THE HEN
A crosseyed snaggletooth buzzard
And a hairlip cockeyed hen
Sitting on a stump talking about men.
Said the hen to the buzzard "why all the fuss?
We don't need men to look after us"
"You're badley mistaken said the buzzard to the hen
This whole world revolves around men"
So they kept on talking until the buzzard convinced the hen
That their happiness completely depended on men.
They decided to set a trap to catch some men to help them out.
So they set the trap with themselves as bait
Then settled down for a long wait.
Finally they saw the men of their dreams so handsome and so bold
And so unaware of the beauty their eyes would soon behold .
As they came closer and saw the buzzard and the hen
Their eyes popped out and lay on their chin.
They let out a yell that would curl your hair
And didn't think it polite to stand and stare.
They ran so fast they left only a streak
And they ran all the way into next week.
"I guess you're right" said the buzzard to the hen
"Untill they learn to appreciate our beauty,
we will just have to live without men."
