Another Childhood Memory
For A moment in my day
I remember things the way
They were when we were small
They are sweet memories one and all.
A delightful child that I knew then
I think he was about age ten
When he decided that Mama's clock
Would be well fixed before he stopped.
He took it apart with loving care
But putting it back he had parts to spare
The clock worked before
But for some reason now, it didn't work anymore.
